Due to track maintenance in the second half of May, the Children’s Railway will change its timetable on working days.
From 21 to 23 May (Tuesday to Thursday), trains will only run between Hűvösvölgy and Szépjuhászné at the usual hourly service times. From Szépjuhászné Railway Station take bus no. 22, 22A or 222 from the front of the station to the Labanc utca stop, from where it is an 800-metre walk to the chairlift, the whole journey takes 18 minutes.
From 27 to 29 May (Monday to Wednesday), trains will only run during the day between Széchenyihegy and Szépjuhászné. The first train in the morning from Hűvösvölgy to Széchenyihegy and the last two trains in the afternoon from Széchenyihegy to Hűvösvölgy will run the full route.
The restriction does not apply at the weekend, when trains will run on the entire line: on Friday the normal working day timetable will apply, on Saturday the weekend timetable will apply, and on Sunday, on the occasion of Children’s Day, trains will run more frequently than usual on the entire line.
